This could be the start of a very profitable bouncy castle business for you. As with all new businesses it will take hard work and determination for you to make it succeed and for a relatively small investment you could be earning around £400 every week in your spare time.
The most important point to consider is the average size of the gardens in your area. To give you an idea, 15 x 15 feet castles are the most popular size.
If you are considering fetes or car boot sales please bear in mind that the larger the castle the more kids you can cater for at any one time. If you are buying a larger castle for these events please check with organisers first as to how many events you can actually get on.
In order to maximise your investment from the start, advertising is very important. Some suggestions are, newspapers, newsagents windows, village hall notice boards, local chip shops, Yellow Pages but to name a few. Don't forget at every party you have a captive audience: always ask parents to put a business card in every party bag. Consider though that it takes a while to gain a good reputation, but it only takes one disgruntled customer to lose it. Don't double book: it maybe possible to get a castle out twice in one day, but leave plenty of time between bookings.
